Through continuously research and innovation, Sino-heavymach has successively developed a series of high-quality and high-tech copper and aluminum processing equipment, injecting strong impetus for overall development in copper and aluminum processing industries. In 2023, Sino-heavymach successfully completed the final acceptance of a complete set of 125MN pre-stretching unit developed for Baowu Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd. This unit is currently the largest stretching machine for aerospace-grade aluminum alloy plates in China, breaking through the technical challenges of Ten thousand-ton stretching machines in short-plate stretching by means of optimized design and structural innovation. Up till now, Sino-heavymach has developed nearly ten different structural types of aluminum alloy plate stretching machines, with the maximum stretching force of the units ranging from 8MN to 125MN, gradually forming a series of products.
Since the successful development of the first aluminum extrusion machine in 1972 - the 16MN aluminum extrusion press, Sino-heavymach has cumulatively provided over 100 sets of extrusion equipment to domestic and international users (including 15 sets of heavy-duty extrusion machines weighing over ten thousand tons). These press cover direct, indirect, direct/indirect, single-action, double-action, and other types of extrusion machines, also post-extrusion handling system, with equipment tonnages ranging from 8MN to 200MN. The extrusion materials include various metals such as aluminum, copper, steel, zirconium, titanium, along with alloys and composite materials. Sino-heavymach has also completed the design and development of 250MN and 360MN ultra heavy-duty extrusion machines and is capable of providing complete sets of equipment.
In recent years, by virtue of focused R&D and innovation efforts, efficient project management, accumulated brand influence, and rich experience in providing complete sets in the high-end copper strip rolling field, Sino-heavymach has successfully developed and implemented a series of new processes, new technologies and new equipment that significantly improve quality of copper strip rolling and address long-standing user pain points. These innovations include high-precision copper strip rolling thickness control systems, wide precise strip shape precision control systems, efficient oil removal systems for precise strip full-oil rolling, high-quality thick plate cold rolling processes tailored for new energy applications, stable strip rolling processes for super-large diameters copper strips, digitized human-machine remote interaction platforms, high-quality comprehensive surface quality control technologies, and modular design of safety isolation systems for cold rolling units. These innovations have been applied in full series of 600mm and 800mm 4-Hi, 6-Hi roughing, medium, and finishing cold rolling mill units independently developed by top-tier copper strip processing companies such as Anhui Chujiang (including Qingyuan Chujiang), Anhui Zhongyuan, Anhui Xinke, Ningbo Xingye, Ningbo Weikang, Jiangxi Jiarun, Jiangxi Copper, Jiangxi Jintaihe, Fujian Guangmin (joint venture between Guangdong Copper and Zijin Mining), and Guangzhou Copper, covering the design and supply in sets of complete copper strip cold rolling whole production lines.
