Recently, Xi’an Heavy Equipment & Technology Co., Ltd. (XHET for short) and Tube/bar/profile Engineering Division of Sino-heavymach has worked together and carried out the design and engineering review of LG-10-GHLL Cold Pilger Mill Project successfully for a reputable Switzerland steel pipe/tube company. This mill is designed as fully-automatic continuous-loading and servo-controlled system with rolling speed of 300 times/min, and its finished product is seamless pipes ranged from Φ6mm to Φ16mm.

The Client has higher expectations on the precision, capacity, and automation of this production line, by using its year’s accumulated technologies and practical experiences of similar projects, Sino-heavymach has passed the Client’s evaluation and won the bidding conclusively. Many cutting-edge cold pilger mill technologies have been adopted for this mill. This high-speed cold pilger mill researched and developed by Sino-heavymach is an another exemplary project for foreign client after three sets mills for Salzgitter Mannesmann Stainless Steel, which laid a solid foundation for Sino-heavymach to break through the global market in high-speed cold pilger mill.

As a European company with rich experience in cold pilger mill, this Swiss Client had high requirements for cold pilger mill, and has been running the Western mills for years. This time, they chose to cooperate with Sino-heavymach reflecting their trust and recognition of Sino-heavymach’s technological strength in researching and development and project management. The Contracting of this project is a significant milestone for Sino-heavymach to explore the European market. We will take this opportunity to further promote high-end and high-quality steel pipe cold rolling technology and equipment to overseas market, and build-up an international brand for Sino-heavymach.

As a China standards stipulation company for cold pilger mill, Sino-heavymach has been devoting himself to researching and developing the core technologies independently for high-speed, high-efficiency, and high-precision cold pilger mill from the beginning. Till now, Sino-heavymach has supplied more than 600 sets of two-roll and multiple-roll cold pilger mills with the finished products from 2mm to 730mm.
