This EPC project consists of process, equipment, repairing, replacing, and revamping by using exiting equipment, civil works, steel structure, E&A system, hydraulic and water system, etc. The revamped casting equipment is equipped with mold electromagnetic stirring, secondary cooling stirring, dynamic and adjustable end stirring and so on to improve product quality; the caster is also equipped with technologies developed by Sino-heavymach like dynamic secondary cooling water, mold hydraulic oscillation, further improving the product quality of round billets.
The construction period of this revamping project is short with great difficulties. Holding the principle of wholehearted consideration for end-users, the Sino-heavymach team engineered and designed scientifically, mobilized resources, made overall manufacturing plan, and installed and commissioned carefully and completely. With the joint effort of Shigang Jingcheng, it only took Sino-heavymach 160 days from signing the contract to commissioning and putting into operation, and the hot trail of this caster went successfully on November 9, 2023 at first time.
This is also the second cooperation between Sino-heavymach and HBIS Group Shigang Company after the first relocation project. The operation of this project provides a new platform for upgrading the product of Shigang Jingcheng, which wins its user's high evaluation and affirmation. The successful operation of the project has proved the deep and solid professional and technical level and the cohesion of Sino-heavymach. Sino-heavymach will live up to the trust of end-users, and create fine and smart continuous casting lines for them.
