(Reported by Li Guoli from Chuangyuan Titanium) Recently, the cut-to-length production line upgrading and revamping project for Plate Plant of Rizhao Steel Holding Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Rizhao Steel) has achieved a successful one-time hot test, and smoothly put into production, which is undertaken by Shaanxi Chuangyuan Titanium Equipment Innovation Center Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Chuangyuan Titanium), a subsidiary of China National Heavy Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sino-heavymach). The equipment is currently operating stably, with all technical figures meeting the design specifications.

These two production lines have successfully applied with a self-developed and researched high-precision drive and reduction device, enabling on-line heavy reduction of thick plates. Furthermore, the implementation of a rapid backlash-eliminating mechanism has effectively increased the running speed. The introduction of an automatic adjustment system has significantly mitigated waves in medium plates, substantially improving the plate quality in leveling and flatness. Aiming at the client’s demands on upgrading the product specifications, the project team has optimized the structure of crop shear, and integrated an advanced control system, realizing the digitization and smart operation of the production lines. After put into production, both the leveling and cutting accuracy of the lines have been raised greatly. The successful commissioning of these two cut-to-length lines have expanded Sino-heavymach’s footprint in the aspect of hot-rolled medium-and-thick plate. This achievement further consolidates and enhances Sino-heavymach’s technological strength and market competitiveness within this field.
