On December 6th 2015, the project for "building the metal extrusion/forging equipment and technology innovation platform" lead by Sino-heavymach, jointly undertaken by China National Erzhong Group Co., Shanghai Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., Xi’an Jiaotong University and Chongqing University, has received the acceptance by the technical experts from the administration office of the National Science and Technology Major Project, "High-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment". The Board chairman, also CEO of Sino-heavymach, Mr. Chao, attended the acceptance meeting. The leaders of participant parties gave the special report respectively.
Based on the research and solving of the technical problems and common issues, under this project, a process test platform has built up for 5MN direct and indirect metal extrusion line, 25 MN double-action indirect extrusion line, 40MN double-action zirconium extrusion line, 3t electro-hydraulic hammer, 800MN and 200MN die forging press, as well as the precise intelligent control system, the hydraulic testing valve stand of extrusion/die forging equipment and the servo control system, making 10 technological breakthroughs; developing 19 sets of key products with our own intellectual property; obtaining 49 patents; publishing 24 related papers, making great contribution to aviation, aerospace, shipbuilding, auto and nuclear power industry.
