Esfahan’s Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC), the largest steel producer in Middle East and Northern Africa and the largest DRI producer in the world ,has already issued the Final Acceptance Certificate(FAC) for twin-strand Slab Casting Machine No.5(CCM#5) to Sino-heayvmach in May 2018.Sino-heavymach is one the rare Chinese companies that is completely approved and qualified by MSC and this is as the result of good performance, high technology and satisfied cooperation of Sino-heavymach.
MSC is one the most important and key customers in the international steel markets of Sino-heavymach, especially in MENA(Middle east and north Africa),In order to meet the customer’s high expectations to produce high quality slab production with the designing capacity of 2.0 MTPY .Sino-heavymach developed a tailor-made and fully integrated concept to fit MSC ‘s requirements perfectly into the existing workshop and new establishment plant.
With the new CCM#5 supplied by Sino-heavymach, MSC has expanded its capacity to 7.2 million tons per year. This slab caster is able to produce 200,220,250 mm thickness, 900～2000mm width qualified slab production with the steel grade of ultra-low carbon steel, carbon steel, low-alloy structural steel, low-alloy high-strength steel, and electrical steel.
As a EP+S Contractor of the Project, Sino-heavymach is responsible for engineering and procurement for all mechanical, EIC and fluid disciplines, plus supervision on erection and commissioning of CCM#5 Project. The CCM#5 was designed with a number of leading technologies, such as continuous bending and straightening, soft reduction system, breakout prediction system, close arrangement of fine rollers, dynamic secondary cooling water control, casting with whole-process anti-oxidation protection, dynamic adjustable hydraulic vibration, mold intelligent cooling and high efficiency of top feeding dummy bar.
